The graph above is illustrating the percentage of people in the world at various poverty levels in 2005. Judging by this image, poverty levels are at an extreme high and governments should be placing higher importance on controlling the poverty levels in whatever way they can.

I believe it is an issue that as a society we seem only to worry about during the holiday season but throughout the rest of the year, we seem to forget about it. I am really looking forward to seeing what interesting articles you find and thanks for looking at such an important issue!
